I have been writing for the Alexandria Echo Press since graduating from Iowa State University in December 2021. I started out as a Sports Reporter in January of 2022 and became the Sports Editor in February of 2023. I have covered a variety of sports and have taken photos to go with the stories. I have also done some news stories.

While studying for my bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at Iowa State University, I worked for the university's student newspaper, the Iowa State Daily. I spent my entire time working there as a beat reporter covering a variety of sports. I served as the sports editor for a summer and an assistant editor for two semesters

In the summer of 2021, I was a newsroom intern for the Marshalltown Times-Republican in Marshalltown, Iowa. I worked on special sections "Summer in Central Iowa" and "Progress." I wrote news stories and took photos to accompany those stories
